WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN GETTING DENTAL BRIDGES

Getting dental bridges takes about two appointments to our dental office in Point Pleasant. Before adding the bridge, we’ll place crowns on the teeth the bridge is going to be attached to. If you’re getting permanent dental implants instead of crowns to attach the bridge, those will need to be in place first. Preparing your teeth for the bridge is done during the first appointment. Once that’s done, we’ll make an impression for your bridge to be created. We’ll put in a temporary bridge for you to wear until the permanent one comes back.

 

Once we get your bridge back from the lab, we’ll install the bridge permanently, making sure it’s properly adjusted and sized to fit comfortably in your mouth.
